Who should attend:
Unpaid caregivers (family or friends) of someone living with a brain change such as Alzheimer’s, mild cognitive impairment or other form of dementia. Even those who are noticing changes in their loved one, that look like brain change but do not have a formal diagnosis.
What to expect:
Caregiving through the lens of brain change and dementia is unlike any other experience, and it deserves specialized support. Our group provides a knowledgeable, compassionate community where you can share openly, gain practical insights, and feel understood by people who truly recognize the challenges you’re facing. It’s a place to learn, connect, and find steady encouragement for the road ahead.

Heather Tierney OTR/L, CDE/L
Our group is facilitated by Heather Tierney, an Occupational Therapist and Certified Dementia Educator with deep experience supporting families throughout the dementia journey. Heather blends her OT background with the teachings of Teepa Snow and Positive Approach to Care® to create a space that is both grounding and practical.
Alongside the comfort of peer support, Heather offers small, meaningful insights that expand your understanding of brain change and help you learn how to adapt, connect, and support your loved one with more confidence.
