Aging Parents: Understanding changes and providing the right support
Whether thriving or facing challenges, join Heather Tierney of Senior Moments Consulting, to gain essential insight and strategies for supporting aging parents, partners or friends. You will learn to identify key components of normal aging, how to adapt to physical changes, create a safe living environment and recognize early symptoms of brain change, mild cognitive impairment or dementia. Most importantly, you will leave feeling empowered to take the next steps in supporting your loved one to age gracefully, despite the circumstances.

“Senior Moments“
(Ages 55+) This 3-week class helps you distinguish normal aging from changes that may suggest dementia, understand brain-related changes, and learn practical strategies to support those experiencing cognitive shifts. Each class builds on the prior, so participation in all three classes, is recommended.

SMC Caregivers Support Group
Are you caring for a loved one with dementia? You are not alone. Join us for a supportive and knowledgeable community where you can share experiences, gain valuable insights and find encouragement.
Sessions to are held the 3rd Tuesday (Holly Springs 6:30pm/Apex 3:00pm)
